New ideas are SWIRLING...doors are opening...all in our little WONDERLAND...

"It's no use talking about it," Alice said, looking up at the house and pretending it was arguing with her. `I'm not going in again yet. I know I should have to get through the Looking-glass again -- back into the old room -- and there'd be an end of all my adventures!'

So, resolutely turning back upon the house, she set out once more down the path, determined to keep straight on till she got to the hill. For a few minutes all went on well, and she was just saying, `I really shall do it this time -- ' when the path gave a sudden twist and shook itself (as she described it afterwards), and the next moment she found herself actually walking in at the door..."

Hello everyone!

There is a lot of excitement today as new doors open at the Oh, Alice! blog.  There are always twists and turns down Alice's path, and with that, we have some good news, even some sad news, but we are all looking forward to the next Chapter here in WONDERLAND!

Some of the sad news, FOR ME, is that this will be my last post as a DT member for Oh Alice :( I have enjoyed this ride so much and I want to thank Jess for allowing me to play along in her little wonderland. It has been a fun ride and I am going to miss everyone. What a wonderful group of ladies. You can find out the good news and a little more sad news by visiting the Oh Alice blog.

Now, back to business. Today we are excited to welcome LITTLE PAPER SHOP as our Sponsor!  The very generous Julia has not only let the DT play with this adorably cute ALICE digi stamp, but is offering a $15 Gift Certificate to the LPS shop to one lucky winner this week!  We can't thank Julia enough for this fabulous sponsorship and can't wait to see your creations this week.

Our Challenge this week is a fun one!  Since we have so many ideas "SWIRLING" around in our heads here and can't wait to bring you the next three months worth of challenges, we can't wait to see what YOU have swirling about! USE SWIRLS on your card/project this week.  You can use DP, stamps, bling, whatever swirls up your own creativity!

Here is my card using the Alice digi from Little Paper Shop. I have also used today’s sketch from the Card Patterns Sketch Blog, Sketch 65, because LPS is sponsoring this challenge too. LPS is offering a $20 Gift Certificate to the LPS shop to one lucky winner this week of the Card Patterns sketch too! THANK YOU JULIA. That’s two ways you can win today. Once for playing along with the Oh Alice challenge and once for playing along with the Card Patterns sketch challenge. Yay!!! Here’s my card and the sketch.

Alice-8

Sketch66

You have until Friday, June 4th, at 8:00pm CST to upload your card/creation using the Linking system on the Oh Alice blog.   One random winner will be chosen to WIN the Little Paper Shop gift certificate and announced on the Oh Alice blog next week!

You have until 11:59pm EST next Friday, June 4th, to enter your card on the Card Patterns blog. One winner will be chosen there too to win another Little Paper Shop gift certificate.

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you back here shortly.

and the sun is like a toy balloon.
There are get up in the morning glories,
    in the golden afternoon.
There are dizzy daffodils on the hillside,

There She Goes – Stampbook Saturday

Hello my friends and happy Saturday. I have a post for you today for There She Goes and Stampbook Saturday. I love doing these because they make me scrapbook more of my family photos that are just lying here so unloved. LOL

What is a Stampbook Page? A Stampbook Page is a scrapbook page created using stamps and inspired by a card. Each week we create a new Stampbook Page to give you ideas on how to use your stamps in a new way and hopefully inspire you to catch up on those family photos that you've been meaning to scrapbook ;)

I was inspired by this gorgeous card from Sandra. She used the Poppies stamp set and some Basic Grey Kioshi paper.

    Sandra

For my page I used a couple of photos of my parents taken at my son’s birthday party a couple of months ago. Can I just tell you how much I love and adore this page with my precious parents. I used the same paper and stamp set that Sandra used on her card.

    Mom-and-Dad-1

That’s it for me today. Thanks for stopping by and joining me. I hope you are inspired to scrapbook more of your photos and use those stamps. So easy!!!!

    There She Goes - TSG55

** Thanks for scrolling down to see my post today for the Little Paper Shop.

Hello and happy Monday. This week’s challenge for There She Goes is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Jessica! She is challenging us to create a card using line art as your background. This is a fun technique to use when you might not feel like coloring or are short on time. Larger line art type images (like the café from Daily Grind) work great! Simply stamp your image in a light colored ink for the background. You can then use dimensionals to add smaller images (that have been colored and cut out) on top of the background image. You can see Jessica’s amazing sample HERE. Here is what I came up with using the What’s Up Buttercup? set. The patterned paper is by Prima and you can find it here at the Jacksonbelle Embellishments store. I have also used Friday’s Sketch AMYRTFS8 from Amy Rysavy’s blog (which I have flipped on its side). Tammy Fielder drew this sketch for Amy.

    Whats-Up-Buttercup-3

    AMYRTFS8

What do you think? It was so hard for me to not color in the flowers on the white panel. LOL.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes line art as a background, then go to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of the challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (May 24th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG55 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you back here tomorrow for a couple more challenge posts.

    Hugs,

    Pam

    Saturday Sketch with CA&F

** Thanks for scrolling down to see my Oh Alice post for today.

Hello and happy Saturday my friends. It’s time for our weekly sketch challenge over at Club Anya & Friends. TODAY is also release day for the ROLL CALL set. I’m telling you my friends, I just adore this set. 10 Sprouts along with 6 sentiments offered at the awesomely LOW PRICE that Marie is selling them for is just too good to be true. Each one of these Sprouts has found it’s way into my heart. I have shown you 3 cards already using these Sprouts so far with today’s being the 4th, but I have already colored all 10 and they just make me smile. Make sure you run over to the store now to get your set.

Here is a pic of today’s sketch and my card using Dylan.

Isn’t he a cutie pie with those “I’m so precious” eyes? He looks like he has been up to mischief but who could be mad at someone with those sweet eyes.

We would love you to play along with our sketch today. Add you card to the Galleria so we can see what you have done.

Thanks for coming by today and I’ll see you back here Monday for more challenge cards.

    Oh Alice - Mushroom Inspiration

"Oh dear! I'd nearly forgotten that I've got to grow up again! Let me see--how IS it to be managed? I suppose I ought to eat or drink something or other; but the great question is, what?''

Alice looked all round her at the flowers and the blades of grass, but she did not see anything that looked like the right thing to eat or drink under the circumstances. There was a large mushroom growing near her, about the same height as herself; and when she had looked under it, and on both sides of it, and behind it, it occurred to her that she might as well look and see what was on the top of it..."

    Good day, everyone!

Today we have a fabulous inspiration piece for you and are SO excited to get to this week's challenge.  Here is your inspiration photo for this week's challenge and the pic of my card using an adorable Alice image from our sponsor today Victoria Case Stamps:

    There She Goes - TSG54

Hello and how are you on this glorious Friday? Me, looking forward to a wonderful weekend.

I have a card for you today using Monday’s Challenge TSG54 from There She Goes. This week’s challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Holly! She is challenging us to create a scene of any kind using your stamps, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with! I used Domestic Goddess, love this set BTW, and created a scene with a sentiment that says exactly what I want to say. Have a look.

And here’s a close-up of the sentiment that I love so much.

Don’t you love that sentiment? LOL. To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card with a stamped scene, then go to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of the challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (May 17th).

If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG54 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Thanks for stopping by today and I’ll see you right back here tomorrow with a couple more challenge posts.

    Hugs,

    Pam
