Slow Down Little Fella

This is my submission for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #72 - TECC72 and Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge #54. I didn't get this posted on Kristina's blog before the Sunday night deadline but I did get it posted on Taylor's blog. I used the Down on the Farm set from The Greeting Farm for my image. I colored and cut the image out before gluing it on to the main image panel. I had it mounted on white but the card looked like it had too much white on it so I made a minor change. What do you think?

Thanks for coming by to check me out today. I hope the start of your week is a good one. Come back tomorrow for another creation. I'll talk to you soon.

SC224 & KCI49 - Just Say Hi

This is my submissions for two challenges, SCS's Sketch Challenge - SC224 and Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge - KCI49. It's too late to put my card in the Mr. Linky on Kristina's blog but I still wanted to do the color challenge. I'm not sure that I accomplished what I set out to do with these colors though but I'm not starting over. Let me know what you think please.

I started out with a Pacific Point card base and used designer paper from the Raspberry Tart pack. The stamps are from Hero Arts. I stamped them with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed them with Clear Embossing Powder and colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment was also stamped with Black Brilliance Ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. The ends of the sentiment panel have Clear Kaiser Rhinestones. The butterfly and the frog's crown have both been cut out and popped with Deimensionals. The main image panel has been cut with Rectangle Nestabilities. The frog's eyes also have small Clear Kaiser Rhinestones on them. It is finished off with some Pacific Point Grosgrain Ribbon.

That's it for today. Thanks for coming by to see me. I will be going on a stamping retreat this Friday morning (and staying until Sunday)with Mercy Kerin, my Mother-in-Law Barb, and another good friend Ashley. Woohoo girls, two more days!!!

Talk to you soon.
