MFT May Guest Designer Contest

Hello friends and happy Monday. I'm here to bring you a card that I am entering for the guest designer contest with My Favorite Things. The theme for the contest is BE A TEACHER'S PET.

For my card today I used the Pure Innocence image APPLE FOR YOU. I thought it was the perfect image for this challenge. Nothing like winning points with the teacher with an apple :) I used a couple of their fabulous Die-namics too. The one on the side of my main image panel is the OVAL CHAIN BORDER and the flower is LARGE ROLLED ROSE. You can  find all kinds of stamping goodies at the MFT store. I am also entering this card in to this week's MFT Sketch Challenge MFTWSC69. Here is my card and this week's sketch.

Thanks for stopping by today and I will see you back here on Thursday with this week's Deconstructed Sketch Challenge.

Hugs,

Sweet Puppies Couldn't Have Done That!!

This is my submission for My Favorite Things sketch challenge MFTSC98. I used my Home Sweet Home set from The Greeting Farm. Look at those sweet puppies. Somebody else must have snuck in there and ripped that couch up. Those cute babies couldn't have done that. LOL

Thanks for stopping by. I'll talk to you soon.

MFTSC81 - Butterfly Anya

Hello again. I just had to post another card that I did this past weekend. It's another one of those pretty Anya girls. LOL!! This is my favorite Anya stamp because I think she looks so good as a butterfly. This stamp is called Flutter Anya from The Greeting Farm. I think I'm gonna have to get me a shirt that says "Got Anya's". What do you think???

This is for the MFT sketch from last week which was designed by Cindy Haffner. Great job Cindy. The sketch is MFTSC81. It's a nice sketch for a large image.

Thanks for looking again today. I have lots more to post so please check back. Tomorrow will be an SU card. Stay tuned and I'll talk to you soon (hey, that rhymes). LOL!!

MFTSC80 - For Someone

Here is a card for the MFT sketch for the week - MFTSC80. I used the set from The Greeting Farm called For Someone.

I started with an Old Olive card base and the only piece of designer paper I used was for the medium circle panel and it has a piece from the Ski Slope paper pack. The other colors are Pink Passion, Certainly Celery and Baja Breeze. The main image was stamped with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, colored with Copic Markers and cut out and mounted on a Circle Nestie. The bling is Kaiser Rhinestones and it's finished off with some Baja Breeze Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanks for checking me out. I hope your weekend is going great. Check back tomorrow for another card. Talk to you soon.

SC213 & CC203 Timeless Love

This card is for yesterday's SCS Color Challenge CC203 and today's SCS Sketch Challenge SC213. I wasn't too sure about these colors that Jessie picked out but as soon as I got them on the card I knew it was a winning combo. Great job Jessie.

I started out with a Garden Green card base. The background mat is white matted with Pacific Point and it has been pierced with SU's Mat Pack and Paper Piercer. The stamp set is a retired set from My Favorite Things called Boho Blossoms. The heart was stamped with Pacific Point and cut out and adhered to the focal panel with dimensionals. The focal panel is cut out with Rectangle Nestabilities. The designer paper is from the Baja Breeze Designer Paper Pack. I stamped a small flower from the stamp set with White Craft Ink on some Garden Green Paper and embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I then punched them out to use with the three Build-a-Brads in the bottom right of the card. The sentiment was stamped with Brilliance Black ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. It is finished off with Pacific Point Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanks for coming by to check me out. Hope you are having a wonderful week.
