Cool Yule Christmas

Hello and happy Friday. It's NEW MOON Friday and I'm counting down the hours to see the new movie, 4-1/2 to be exact. LOL. My friend Mercy and I have been looking forward to this for so long now. We don't know who we want to see more Edward or Jacob. I'm leaning more toward Edward and she's leaning more toward Jacob. Hopefully we'll both get our fill while we are there. LOL

Quick post for you today showing a card I made last weekend while my girls were here. I used the new Cool Yule set by MFT Stamps. Love this set so much. When I saw it I couldn't wait to make this little scene with the animals. What do you think?.........

Winter Fairy and a Big Announcement

Hello and happy Wednesday. I have a wonderful announcement to make friends. I am now a Design Team Member for Danni's Flutter by Wednesday's. Thank you so much Danni for having me as part of your team. I am truly honored to have been chosen and I am so excited to be working with some wonderful and talented ladies.

Today's Flutter by Wednesday challenge is "open" so you can create any kind of card that you would like but you must have either a BUTTERFLY, a FAIRY, or an ANGEL to qualify for the challenge. I made two cards and used more of the Fairies that we are previewing this week from The Greeting Farm. The first card is using Winter Fairy and the second card (which was previewed on The Greeting Farm blog yesterday) is using Autumn Fairy. The first card with Winter Fairy is also using Monday's MOJO sketch MOJO113 flipped on it's side. Here are my cards......

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch with a Gorgeous Fairy

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's that time of the week again, time for another wonderful sketch from Mercy. This is sketch MTSC48. I encourage you to play along with us this week if you haven't so far. Mercy's sketches are so much fun and she always has lots of layers on her sketches, which is what I love. This week I am showing you a preview of a Fairy digi image from The Greeting Farm that will be released this Thursday, November 19th. There are four of these digis, one for each season.  This is Spring Fairy...........

and here is a close up of her wings............

I wanted you to see how I colored her wings. I started close to her body with a dark red and worked my way to the outside of her wings using dark red, red, light red, dark orange, light orange, dark yellow, then light yellow. Didn't it turn out quite nice? Well, I have Kelly Booth, friend and fellow DT member from Club Anya, to thank for this. Her coloring is amazing and I have learned so much by looking at her work. Thanks Kelly for the tips.

Sneak Peak - Day 2 Little Paper Shop and a Challenge

Hello and happy Monday. This is our second day of sneak peeks for the Little Paper Shop with the release being tomorrow, November 17th. We only have two sets releasing this week but they are FABULOUS. There is a challenge today, LPSC42, and it's to use a die cut of any kind on your card. Easy peasy, right? I showed you the {I Heart} set yesterday. Wasn't it a beauty? I'm using another one of the images (the heart balloon) from that set on my card today along with three sentiments from today's set. Today's set is a sentiment set called For You. Love, love, love these sentiments. Here is my card...........

Don't you just love that sentiment? Wife is one sentiment, husband is another sentiment, and the rest is a third sentiment. There is a sentiment for almost every family member (Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, Son, Daughter, Friend, etc.). You will have so much fun with this set making cards for those close to you. Hello and happy Friday. I have such exciting news today. I am the Friday Friend over at Taylored Expressions Stamp a Sweet Impression blog. I'm so excited and honored to be showcased on the SASI blog. Taylor VanBruggen's DT is absolutely fabulous and they are the reason I have gotten so hooked on her stamps. One of the latest releases, Wings of Joy, is my absolute fav set of hers and it was after seeing all the gorgeousness that her DT came up with that had me dying to have that set. Club Anya - Day 5 of Total Cuteness

Hello and happy Friday. It's our final day of sneak peeks from Club Anya and The Greeting Farm. OK, sit back and relax and get ready to be "PAMPERED". I would like to introduce you to the stamp set called "Me Time Anya". There are 10 images in this set and I have used 3 of the images on my card. Here it is...........

Doesn't it make you want to take a bubble bath? There are two different Anya's in this set and they are both a smaller version Anya like the new Signature set that was released last month. I absolutely love that some of these precious stamps are coming in different sizes now. FUN, FUN, FUN is all I can say. Now go check out the other DT members blogs and you'll be able to see some of the other stamps in this set along with the other cutie patootie Anya girl. Can you guys tell how much I just love these stamps??? cause I really do. LOL!! I am absolutely on CLOUD 9 with this release and know that the future ones are going to be even better. Club Anya - Day 4 of Peeks

Hello and happy Thursday. It's our 4th day of sneak peeks from Club Anya and The Greeting Farm. Are you ready to see something so "SWEET" you won't be able to stand it? Let me introduce you to Lolli, and yes ladies, she is in RUBBER. Here is my card with the sweetie............

Is this not the sweetest image you have ever seen? When this cutie came in the mail and I opened the package, I just screamed. My hubby could not figure out what was wrong with me until he saw the package and he says "new stamps, huh?" Oh my, I just love this little cutie. I just had to make her bright and colorful, she just seemed so full of life.

I'm also entering this card for yesterday's Flutter By Wednesday #83 challenge. This week's challenge is a theme and the theme is Thankful. Lolli is very Thankful for her lollipop. LOL.

Did you also notice the sentiment "wanna play?" Marie and Jess have come up with a sentiment set called Anya Says that matches all of the Anya's from the past. Woohoo!!! Ladies, it's what you have been asking for and TGF has delivered. If you will notice in the pic below, the sentiment "Keep Rockin'" is in the set twice. Since there is a minor flaw (well, I don't consider that a flaw myself, LOL) TGF will be selling this set for a special price of $10 instead of the normal $15. How about that for a bargain ladies? Here is a pic of the whole set. Some of the DT have been using it on their cards this week.
