For this challenge you will need to pull out your paint brushes, aqua brushes, or blending stumps along with some ink pads, watercolor pencils, or distress inks…we’re going to WATERCOLOR! You may have a different way to watercolor other than the ones that I’ve listed, but as long as you watercolor you’ll be just fine. I know it’s hard to drop the Copic Markers, but let’s go back to coloring basics! Here is my card along with a pic of Mercy's sketch.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that incorporates watercoloring, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Inlinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. It's time to introduce a new guest designer for the month of August for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge. Joining us this month is Angela Thomas. Welcome Angela. So glad you are here!!! Now check out what the rest of the Muses have for you to look at today using Mercy's wonderful sketch.

There She Goes - TSG59

Hello friends and happy Monday. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I know I did. It is so beautiful here in the Southern US but oh so HOT!! It was in the high 90’s this weekend and miserably humid. You pretty much only had two choices. One, stay inside or two, stay in the pool. I decided to do a little of both. Swam with Garrett on Saturday and stayed in and stamped on Sunday. Fun, fun, fun!!!

This week’s challenge from There She Goes is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Sandra! She is asking us to rip it, tear it, sponge it, wrinkle it, distress it…anything to get your creation dirty! We can’t wait to see what you come up with for this spectacular and shabby challenge!

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that has been “roughed-up”, then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of the challenge post.

Unfortunately, again today, I did not look at my calendar before I made my card for this challenge so I did  not follow the rules. I am so sorry my friends. You can check out the other DT members blogs as I’m sure they did. I used my ROFL Taglines set for the first time for this card. I just LOVE the sayings that Jessica made with this set. I also have a close-up pic of the two different sentiments on my card so you can see them. Let me know what you think please.

ROF-Taglines-1

ROFL-Taglines-1a

ROFL-Taglines-1b

Are those sentiments hilarious? I can’t wait to send this to a friend.

This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (May 21st). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. She is challenging us to create a card that includes these TWO features: altered corners (rounded, ticket, scallop, etc) and a border punch on one of the layers. You can have as many border punched layers as you want on your card but there has to be at least one to qualify for this challenge. Please see the TSG blog for more details on how to play along and win this week.

There She Goes - TSG55

** Thanks for scrolling down to see my post today for the Little Paper Shop.

Hello and happy Monday. This week’s challenge for There She Goes is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Jessica! She is challenging us to create a card using line art as your background. This is a fun technique to use when you might not feel like coloring or are short on time. Larger line art type images (like the café from Daily Grind) work great! Simply stamp your image in a light colored ink for the background. You can then use dimensionals to add smaller images (that have been colored and cut out) on top of the background image. You can see Jessica’s amazing sample HERE. Here is what I came up with using the What’s Up Buttercup? set. The patterned paper is by Prima and you can find it here at the Jacksonbelle Embellishments store. I have also used Friday’s Sketch AMYRTFS8 from Amy Rysavy’s blog (which I have flipped on its side). Tammy Fielder drew this sketch for Amy.

Whats-Up-Buttercup-3

AMYRTFS8

What do you think? It was so hard for me to not color in the flowers on the white panel. LOL.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes line art as a background, then go to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of the challenge post. There She Goes - TSG47

Hello again my friends and welcome back. I have another card for you using our Monday challenge from There She Goes. Our challenge today is called “Simplicity”, or a one-layer card. OK, if you visit my blog very much then you know that I LOVE layers. This really was a challenge for me but I really liked how my card came out. Tell me what you think.

Dance-2

I used the stamp set Dance, which is becoming one of my favs. Those are gorgeous flowers, aren’t they? I did pop the flowers up on dimensionals. You are allowed to have images that are popped up with dimension on your card but no other layers/panels! Limit your embellishments to only one kind (but you can use multiple of that embellishment). So get out those stamps and enjoy some simplicity in your stamping this week.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a one layer card, then go to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of the challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Mar. 29). The winner will receive a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. They will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG47 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Thanks for stopping by again today and I’ll see you back here tomorrow for a couple more challenge posts. I’ll talk to you soon.

Hugs,

Pam

There Shes Goes With a Sketch

Hello and welcome to our Monday challenge post for There She Goes. We have a sketch challenge for you today from the multi-talented Danielle Lounds. I used my precious friend Mercy's stamp set Flowers of Happiness while she was over stamping with me this weekend. I incorporated some of my new Basic Grey paper from the pack Green at Heart. This is my new favorite paper pack. I LOVE the colors in it. Here is a pic of the sketch and my card.

When you play along with our sketch challenge this week please leave a link to your card on the TSG blog using Mr. Linky. We can't wait to see what you come up with using this sketch. AND DON'T FORGET, ONE LUCKY PARTICIPANT TO OUR CHALLENGE THIS WEEK WILL WIN A $5 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO THE TSG STORE.

Take care, thanks for visiting, and I'll see you back here tomorrow with a couple more posts.

Hugs,
