AMYRTFS5 - Refuge and Strength

EDITED: I made a boo boo when I posted this card. I said it was for Taylor VanBruggen's sketch from this past Friday but it is actually from Amy Rysavy's blog and it's Sketch AMYRTFS5 that was done by the talented Tammy Fielder. SORRY TAMMY!! Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I made this card for AmyRysavy's Friday Sketch Challenge AMYRTFS5. This sketch was done by Tammy Fielder and is an awesome sketch. I used Stampin' Ups! set Refuge & Strength, gorgeous set. I just got this fall paper in from SU too called Autumn Traditions. It's really pretty and I can't believe they put purple in it. It really blends well. The twigs on the left side of the main image panel are from a Martha Stewart punch.

Thanks for stopping by today. I'll see you tomorrow with another card from Mercy's sketch. Talk to you soon.

Hugs!!

Hold on Ladies, It's Edward - AMYRS71

Who besides me out there has been waiting for a stamp with the hottest man on the planet on it?? Come on girls, I know I'm not the only one that loves Edward. Thanks Marie, from The Greeting Farm, for making this Edward stamp. For those of you that are not Twilight fans, Edward is a vampire, but a vampire that all the ladies love. So that's what leads to the sentiment "Bite Me" because all us Twilight fans want nothing else than to be bitten by Edward. LOL!! The little bat on the sentiment panel is cut out from the Ghostly Greetings retired designer paper from SU.

This card is for Amy Rysavy's sketch from the past Friday, AMYRS71.

Thanks for stopping by to visit today. Your visits mean a lot. I'll talk to you soon.

Hugs,

Stamps: Edward from The Greeting Farm, Sentiment (printed on my PC)
Paper: Bashful Blue, Basic Gray, Basic Black, White, Retired SU Designer
Ink: Black Brilliance
Accessories: Copic Markers, Clear Embossing Powder, Oval Nesties, Martha Stewart Circle Cutter, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Designer Label Punch (handcut after punching for the sentiment panel), Dimensionals

In Color Joy - THT004 and AMYRS4

Hello and Happy Thursday. Sorry I haven't posted this week but when we got back from our week long camping trip this past Sunday I brought home a kidney infection with me. That's the first time I have found one of those things in the woods so if you are ever out there in "the wild" watch out. I'm thinking those things grow on trees and when you walk by they just jump on you without you even knowing it. LOL!!!

Anywho, here is my card for this week's Treehouse Thursday Challenge, THT004, hosted by Treehouse Stamps. I used Amy R's sketch, AMYRS4, from this past Friday for my card. I used the newly released set Dino-rific from Treehouse Stamps. Our challenge this week is to use some form of embossing on your card. It can be from a Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Brass Stencils, Faux Embossing, etc. Please play along with us and make sure you use the keywords THT004 when you upload your card.

Do you notice the new bright colors I used on my card? These are three of SU's new In-Colors called Soft Suede, Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay (hope I got those names right LOL). My precious friend Mercy let me borrow some of hers until mine comes in. I am in love with these new bright and bold colors. Also, here is a pic of Amy's sketch. It's a good one.

Thanks for coming by today and checking me out. I will be posting another card in a few for the Stamps and Smiles Thursday Sketch that's hosted over on The Fresh Batch blog. See you shortly.

Stamps: Dino-rific by Treehouse Stamps
Paper: Soft Suede, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, White, SU DP
Ink: Brown by Momento
Accessories: Copic Markers, Clear Embossing Powder, Rectangle Nesties, Big Shot Top Note Die, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, White Brads, Grosgrain Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Dimensionals

Hugs,

AMYRS67 - Rockin' Anya

Good Monday morning!! This is for Amy Rysavy's sketch AMYRS67 from this past Friday. I used the set Rock the Farm from The Greeting Farm (thanks Mercy for sharing!!). If you can't already tell, The Greeting Farm stamps are some of my favorites right now. I just love all their stamps. Can't get enough of them.

I started out with a So Saffron card base and used Slumber Party Specialty for my designer paper. The coordinating colors are Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and So Saffron. Anya was stamped with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, colored with Copic Markers and cut out with Oval Nesties. The ribbon is the So Saffron Grosgrain from the Occasions Mini and it's finished off with Silver Brads.

Thanks for checking me out today. I hope this is a start to a wonderful week for you. I'm counting down the days until this Friday when we will be leaving to go camping. Woohoo!! I love getting away to the woods. Thanks for checking me out and I'll talk to you soon.

AMYRS2 - Flutter Anya

I have another cute image for you today. I hope you are not getting tired of these cutesy images I have been using lately because I absolutely love them. This is probably my favorite Anya so far. I think she is just the cutest thing with her hair up in two buns and the butterfly wings on her back. She is called Flutter Anya and she is made by The Greeting Farm. I just can't get enough of their cute images!!!

This card is for Amy Rysavy's Friday Sketch - AMYRS2. I turned the sketch on it's side to fit my Anya image. I started out with an Old Olive card base and used Basic Black for all my mats. The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye. Anya was stamped with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, colored with Copic Markers, and cut out and popped with dimensionals. The mat behind her has been cut out with Rectangle Nesties. While the white paper was still in the Nestie Die, I lightly sponged some Certainly Celery on the background before I mounted Anya. When you leave the paper in the die while you sponge you get a nice, even white frame around the paper. It almost looks like it has been mounted with white before the black mat was attached. The Butterflies are from a Martha Stewart Punch and they each have a Clear Kaiser Rhinestone on their back. The sentiment is from the set called Sentiments from The Greeting Farm. I stamped it on white card stock, sponged it with Certainly Celery and cut it out with the Word Window Punch. I punched a piece of Basic Black card stock for a mat behind the saying and mounted the sentiment panel with dimensionals. It is finished off with Basic Black and Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanks for coming by to check me out on this Sunday afternoon. I hope your weekend is going great. Talk to you soon.

AMYRS64 - Meet Suzette

This is for Amy Rysavy's Friday Sketch AMYRS64. This is the first time I have played along with one of Amy's sketches but it was a lot of fun.

I started out with a Tempting Turquoise Card base and used Rainbow Sherbet again for my Designer Paper. The coordinating colors for this designer paper are Apricot Appeal, Green Galore and Tempting Turquoise. I used another one of my new KETTO stamps from StampingBella for the main image. Her name is Suzette. Another cutie, huh? She was stamped with Black Brilliance ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, colored with Copic Markers, and cut out and popped with Dimensionals. I used three designer brads in the upper left corner and some Turquoise Grosgrain Ribbon. It's finished off with a Martha Stewart border punch on the bottom.

Thanks for checking me out and have a wonderful weekend. Talk to you soon.
