Here are 2 of my 3 projects we did this week at my Clubs. For all of you that don't know I work at a CPA firm so we are very busy right now. I just wanted to say that so I could officially whine about not being able to stamp as much as I would like. Actually I would just like to stamp some. It's Sat. afternoon, I got home from work around 3:00 pm and after I do this post I think I will go and stamp. Woohoo!!!!! Check back after the first of this week and I may have another post from some weekend stamping.
The first card was a CASE from this card. Wasn't her card beautiful? The only things I changed are the colors and I omitted one brad and the number 3. Yes, I love bright colors. I have loved working with these stamp sets from Sale-a-Bration. I just love all of them. The only thing from SAB that I haven't used are the rub-ons. Just haven't had the time yet but I hope to remedy that today. On the second card I used the "faux silk technique" on the white panel. I got the directions off of SplitCoast Stampers and it can be found here. The ladies in my Club loved doing this technique and it was very easy. The only thing I would like to add about the technique is this: Adhere your stamped image with a glue stick and when you adhere the tissue paper to the white cardstock barely press it down or you will press out all of your wrinkles. Then, let that panel dry completely before you adhere it to your card. Yes, I learned the hard way but that's what stamping is all about, right?
Have a great weekend and TFL!!!

Oh my gosh! I worked for a CPA firm for 20+ years, so I DO know what you're talking about! Really!
Your cards are just gorgeous...design, colors, all of it. You are so, so talented!
I am so glad you found me, so that I could find you!
I think you need to quit your job. It is taking away too much stamping time. :) I sure do miss your inspiration.
Both cards look great Pam! You do such an awesome job with bright colors! Hope you find time to stamp...maybe more so after Apr 15th, eh? ;)
So darn cute! You colors are outstanding!
