TECC61 - Mismatch Girl

I would like you to meet another one of the precious KETTO girls from StampingBella called Mismatch. How many of you out there have little girls that like to dress theirselves and their clothes don't match? I have two precious nieces that used to be like that when they were around 3 or 4. Love you Zoe and Olivia.

This card is for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge TECC 61. I started with a Real Red card base and I used Pink Flamingo as my designer paper. The layers are all matted in Basic Black. I stamped Mismatch with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed her with Clear Embossing Powder and colored her with Copic Markers. I stamped a Dragonfly, which is also part of the KETTO line of stamps, to fly around above her. The main image is double matted with Rectangle Nesties. The bling is Red Kaiser Rhinestones.

Thanks for coming by to check me out on this beautiful Monday. Talk to you soon.

SU Card

Hello everyone. It's been a long time since I have done a SU card so I pulled out my all-time favorite set, Unfrogettable. I had let someone borrow this set for about a year and I just got it back. I couldn't wait to use it again. I haven't gotten to color a pretty scene with it since I've had my Copic Markers. How do you think the scene looks?

I started out with a Cameo Coral card base and used Raspberry Tart for the designer paper. The coordinating colors I used are Real Red and Kiwi Kiss. I stamped the scene with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder and colored it in with my Copic Markers. Love my Copics. On the upper right side of the main panel I used a Flower Ghost Image by Heidi Swapp with a designer Heart Brad in the center. The main panel is cut with Rectangle Nestabilities. The sentiment was stamped with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and cut out with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch from SU. I matted it with a 1-1/2" Circle Punch from a local craft store (SU does not carry this size) and SU's Scallop Circle Punch. The bottom left corner has a Real Red piece cut with the Word Window Punch with Clear Kaiser Rhinestone Brads. It is finished off with Red Organdy Ribbon. This was a really fun card for me to make. It's size is 5x5.

I hope the start of your week is wonderful. Thanks for coming by to check me out. Talk to you soon.

Next, Meet Maisy - WSC74

Today I would like to introduce you to Maisy, also from StampingBella's line called Ketto. Isn't she a cutie too? Maisy is wearing a crown and so is her Prince Charming which is also from the Ketto line. BTW, this is for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge WSC74, which is being hosted this week by Charmaine Ikach from Oodabug Alley.

I started with a Real Red card base and used Ski Slope for my designer paper. The coordinating colors in the card are Old Olive and Baja Breeze. Maisy and her Prince Charming were stamped with Black Brilliance ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment is from a sentiment set I purchased at Archiver's by Impression Obsession "Sentiments II". It was cut out with the Large Oval Punch and matted with a Baja Breeze piece cut out with the Wide Oval Punch. The bling is Red Kaiser Rhinestones and the ribbon is Real Red Grosgrain.

Thanks for coming by to check me out today and I hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful. It's cloudy, windy, and warm on this beautiful Saturday afternoon in Georgia. See you soon.

Meet Tatiana

Hello, I would like you to meet Tatiana. She is one of the new stamps from Stamping Bella's line called Ketto. Isn't she cute as a button? I have several of these new stamps and can't wait to show them to you. I'm getting together with Mercy to stamp tomorrow so look out for some extra fun stuff coming your way. Speaking of Mercy, do you see my new watermark on my card? She made that for me. Isn't she precious? Thanks Mercy, you're the best!!

Tatiana was stamped with Black Brilliance ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and colored with Copic Markers. She was cut out with Circle Nesties. I used the Pink Flamingo designer paper for this card. I cut out a Turquoise piece from the designer pack with the Top Note Die and put behind the main panel. I created the punched bottom edge of the card with a Martha Stewart punch. The final touches are some Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon and a large Petaloo flower with a designer brad in the center.

Thanks for coming by to check me out today. Stayed tuned for more of these fabulous Ketto stamps this weekend. Mercy and I are going to Fairy Tale land with them tomorrow. Wanna join us?

Beautiful Anya

How do you like my beautiful little Anya? I love the Dress Up Anya doll from The Greeting Farm. I actually used 3 stamps sets from The Greeting Farm on this card. In addition to the Anya image that's in the Dress Up set, her dress is from the Wardrobe #1 set and the flower in her hair and the sentiment are from the Pretty Hat Anya set. I haven't picked up Pacific Point in a long time and used it on a card but I thought it went real well with the Regal Rose in this card.

Have a great week and check me out on Thursday for another Sketch Challenge sample from Stamps and Smiles.

SFYTT Meets Hanna

This is for Jen del Muro's Sketch For You To Try SFYTT for today. For my sketch card I pulled out my Hanna Stamps set called I Love My Garden.

I stamped Hanna with Black Brilliance Ink, embossed her with clear embossing powder and colored her with Copic Markers. I know she is supposed to be working in her garden but I couldn't help but make her pretty so I put some make-up on her. I also stamped the trellis from the stamp set and cut out one of the flowers to put on her hat. She grows such pretty flowers, LOL!! I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the bottom of the card and some Rectangle Nestabilities to mount Hanna on.

Thanks for coming by to check me out. Don't forget to stop by Jen's blog and play along with the sketch. Have a great weekend.

Shepherd Boy

Here's the Shepherd Boy image that reminds me so much of my son Garrett. The stamp is from The Greeting Farm.

This was a very simple card I put together. I used a piece of the dotted paper from the designer pack Sweet Always to cut out with the Top Note die on the Big Shot. The card base is Regal Rose and the matching colors are Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie. The main image was colored with Copic Markers and cut out with a new Circle Cutter from Martha Stewart I purchased. The sentiment was stamped with Chocolate Chip ink and cut out with the Large Oval Punch. It has a Heart Shaped Heidi Swapp Ghost Image and a Designer Brad attached to the sentiment piece. The background panel is pierced with a Paper Piercer and Mat Pack. The ribbon is the Wide Chocolate Chip Satin (retired) and Regal Rose Grosgrain.

Thanks for coming by to check me out on this beautiful Friday. We survived our 5-day family camping trip. It rained the first 4 days so we stayed in the camper and played Uno and other games with Garrett. Believe it or not we had a great time. We were able to take the boat out and fish on the last day. Garrett did fish from the bank everyday in the rain and caught lots of small fish. He had a great time fishing, he doesn't care what size they are. Oh, to be a kid again. LOL!! Have a great weekend.

CC209 & TECC57 - Praying For You

This is my submission for yesterday's SplitCoast Color Challenge CC208 and for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge TECC57. These are not my normal colors so this card was a little hard for me.

I started out with an Always Artichoke card base. I used a piece of the dotted rose paper from the designer pack Raspberry Tart for the background paper. I inked the main image from the SU set Thoughts and Prayers with SU Markers in Basic Black, Rose Red, So Saffron, and Always Artichoke and stamped it on a white panel cut with a Rectangle Nestabilitie. I stamped the image again with Rose Red ink and cut out and popped a few of the flowers for dimension. The sentiment was stamped with Whisper White Craft ink on Basic Black Paper, embossed with White Embossing Powder, and cut out with the Large Oval Punch. The background piece was pierced with SU's Mat pack and a Paper Piercer. Now, on to the dimensional flower bling. I have looked everywhere, for several months, for some Heidi Swapp Ghost Images after seeing them several months ago on Jody Morrow's blog. She has done some wonderful projects with those images. I finally found them!!! I added one behind a Silk Flower and a Designer Brad that I got from a local scrapbooking store.

Hope you have a wonderful week. Thanks for dropping in.

MOJO77 - Kind Thoughts

This is for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch MOJO77. I used the designer paper Sweet Slumber Specialty for the first time on this card. The stamp set is Kind Thoughts by SU and the coordinating paper is Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, and So Saffron. I stamped a Red butterfly on the main circle panel but then popped a Baja one on top of it. How do you think that looks? The circle was cut out with Circle Nestabilities. The punch on the bottom is a Martha Stewart Punch and the Designer Brads are from a local scrapbooking store. The sentiment was stamped with Brown Momento Ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.

Thanks for coming by to check me out. Have a wonderful week.

Bunny Hop Sophia

I know I say this every time I make a card but isn't this just the cutest image you have ever seen? My Mom said it looked like me as a little girl. Wow, was I ever that cute? LOL!! This is called Bunny Hop Sophia by Paper Pretties. It's March's Stamp of the Month. If you are not in the Stamp of the Month Club you need to join. You can get the stamps the month before they go on sale to the public.

I started with a Pretty in Pink card base. The designer paper is from the Tea Party pack. Nice designer paper for Easter. Sophia is colored with Copic Markers and mounted on a Long Rectangle Nestabilitie mat. I put two buttons on the upper left corner of the main image. One is a Pink Pirouette button and the other is a large Clear Square button, both by SU. The mats are Almost Amethyst. The pink flower border is a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is stamped with Black Brilliance ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, as was Bunny Hop Sophia. The sentiment was cut out with the Designer Label Punch and brads I purchased from a local Scrapbook Store were put on each corner. The ribbon is Certainly Celery Grosgrain.

Thanks for coming by to check me out on this beautiful weekend. It's 75 here in sunny Northwest Georgia today. Love it!! Have a great weekend.

SC218 - Easter Card for My Mama

OK, I just received this set yesterday from The Greeting Farm. It's called Shepherd Boy. Isn't he just the cutest thing you have ever seen?? He reminds me of my precious angel Garrett.

This card is for today's Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge SC218. I used the designer paper Windsor Knot because these colors reminded me of Easter. The sentiment on the inside of the card reads "Lord, my life belongs to thee. Give me faith to stand for thee." Mom, I know you are reading. This card is for you. Love you!! The card base is Sage Shadow and the mats are Chocolate Chip. I used the Bigz Top Note Big Shot die for the piece behind the main panel. The focal image is mounted with Dimensionals on top of a piece cut with the Long Rectangle Nestabilities. The sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip and cut out with the small and medium Oval Punches. I attached a Mini Library Clip with some Non-SU Sage Grosgrain Ribbon. The Shepherd Boy and his sheep are colored with Copic Markers.

Thanks for coming by to check me out today. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.

Stampin' Up Florals

I made this card this weekend with the new Fifth Avenue Floral Set. This is such a pretty set and this is the first time I have used it. Thanks Mercy!!

The card base is Kiwi Kiss and the background piece is Cameo Coral with Raspberry Tart designer paper added at the bottom. I punched the designer paper and the Coral paper both with SU's Scallop Border Punch. I found some Rhinestones that were a perfect Kiwi color to match and added four of them on the side. It's finished off with some Kiwi Kiss Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanks for coming by to visit me today. I hope you have a wonderful week.
