KRAFTIN’ KIMMIE STAMPS–August Previews Day 3 and SATURDAY’S CHALLENGE

Hello friends and happy Saturday. Are you ready for another day of some awesome Halloween Kraftin’ Kimmie images? You are going to love the ones we have to show you today that were drawn by the amazing Annie Rodrigue. Don’t you just love her Moonlight Whisper images? I know I can’t get enough of them.

Our hostess for today’s challenge is our very own Kimmie. Her challenge is MAKE IT SPOOKY. Please join us for this fun challenge and use any Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp you'd like!! Then be sure to share your card with us by clicking on the little blue frog link at the bottom of today's post on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog to add your card for your chance to win one of the NEW images , of your choice, that are being released this month. Woohoo!!!

I have two cards to share with you today. The first one uses an image called MAGICAL MATILDA. I paired her with some Basic Grey Sweet Threads patterned paper. I sponged around the outside of the image with orange distress ink. Whatcha think?

My next card uses the image MR. PUNKIN HEAD. I paired him with more of the Stampin’ Up! Ghostly Greetings patterned paper. I sponged around the outside of the image with purple distress ink and drew in the grass. The black ribbon is satin and I pleated it and then sewed it with white thread on the sewing machine. Whatcha think?

Love em both but I think I like Mr Punkinhead best, that background paper is wonderful!

Both cards are utterly SPOOK-tacular. I love the colouring on each, although they are very different.

The sponging around mr Punkinhead makes the image look 3-d. Love what you did with the ribbon too. I love working with satin, but can't work a sewing machine to save my life, lol.

I really love your card. the skull paper is great. I envision I will be using a simailar one in the next few days from my stash to make a spooky card. Although I just love the pumpkin head guy! so nightmare before christmas and I will just have to get him for my husband! Too bad I cant have him for this challenge!

Both of these are great. I love the orange (chipboard?) piece behind Matilda. The sewing actually sets everything off. I couldn't use a sewing machine to save my soul - maybe that's my next challenge. Would love to be able to create this look! Love it!!
