Paper Pretties Sneak Peek Day 1

Hello my friends and happy Sunday. Today starts the first day of our previews for Paper Pretties. Release day is Thursday so I will have lots to show you until then. I will have a sneak peek every day through Thursday.

We're finally ready for the Grand Re-Opening EVENT we've been promising!  It's happening this Thursday, August 12th with a huge BLOG HOP full of gorgeous creations ... and FREE STAMPS.  Woohoo!!!Check the Paper Pretties Blog and the rest of the Prettie Girls' blogs this week for previews and more details, and be back here on THURSDAY to hop with us, and win with us! The big RELEASE DAY BLOG HOP PARTY TRAIN kicks off at 5:00 AM EST on the Paper Pretties Blog.  Stamps will be available for purchase at 7:00 AM EST that day in the Prettie Boutique.

We have 12 sets that will be released this month so there is something for everyone. Each set comes with several sentiments so you will be able to use them for several occasions. The set I am showing you today is called CHEERLEADER. This girl is just a cutie pie. I used Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge TESC123 for my card. I paired the image with some Basic Grey Euphoria paper and used a NEW MFT-dinamics die for the border. Here is my card along with Taylor’s sketch.

Saturday Sketch with CA&F With a Little Change

Hello friends and happy Saturday. It's time for our weekly sketch challenge with Club Anya & Friends but before we get to today's sketch I'm sure you are wanting to know what the "little change" is I mentioned in the title, huh? In the past we have only had a prize on the first Saturday of the month. One person would win one of the single images that the DT had just previewed during release week. We are going to change that up a bit. Starting today, there will be a WEEKLY prize for our Saturday sketches. Woohoo!! Each week one random participant will win a digi of their choice for participating in the sketch challenge. Isn't TGF just the bomb?

For my card today I used the NEW Cupcake Anya digi designed by my sweet friend Rachel Schneider. I just love this adorable image. I colored her up with my 2 fav card colors, purple and green, and used some new patterned paper I got by K&Company's Jubilee pack. Here is my card along with today's sketch.

DT Call for Little Paper Shop

Hello and happy Wednesday my friends. The Little Paper Shop is having a DT call starting today, August 4th and running through Friday, August 20th at 9:00pm EST. Details are listed below.

• DT terms will be for 6 months starting September 1, 2010 and running through February 28, 2011. The 2 new DT spots will be announced on Monday's Weekly Challenge post, August 23, 2010. You can reapply again after your 6 month term is over if you are interested in staying.
• Please email two cards to me using Little Paper Shop stamps. If you do not have LPS stamps, you can find some FREE DIGIS in the LPS Forum here. You will need to register to view the forum but registration is FREE. There are free digis posted in the forum every month so there should be several to pick from.
• You will be responsible for participating in our Monday challenges every week.
• We have 2 - 4 new stamp set releases every month and you will need to do at least one card per set during our preview week. Sneak peeks normally fall around the middle of the month.
• There are no NEW releases during November and December therefore you will receive four sets (2 per month) of your choice from the store for those 2 months as compensation.
• You will receive a very generous discount from the LPS store during your term.
• In your email please tell my why you would like to be on the LPS design team.

All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge

Hello and happy Wednesday my friends. I have some wonderful news to share today. I am now a DT member for the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge team. Woohoo!! I have always adored ATS stamps so I am extremely happy that I am able to join the other awesome designers on the team. I am truly honored to be among them.

Our challenge today is a gorgeous color combo of Chocolate, Aqua and Kraft. I used one of the C.C. Designs Sweet November stamps called Bubbles Lostlagoon by my sweet friend Amy Young.

And here is a close-up so you can see the coloring detail. She was so much fun to color and so was her cute Octopus friend.

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge - MTSC85 and There She Goes Challenge TSG66

Hello and happy Tuesday my friends. Before I get to my card today I thought I would post a few more pics from CHA this past weekend.

Today I have combined my card for two challenges. First it's for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC85 and second it's for Monday's challenge at There She Goes TSG66. I used the new set The Journey from There She Goes. This week’s challenge from There She Goes is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Mercy! For this challenge you will need to pull out your paint brushes, aqua brushes, or blending stumps along with some ink pads, watercolor pencils, or distress inks…we’re going to WATERCOLOR! You may have a different way to watercolor other than the ones that I’ve listed, but as long as you watercolor you’ll be just fine. I know it’s hard to drop the Copic Markers, but let’s go back to coloring basics! Here is my card along with a pic of Mercy's sketch.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that incorporates watercoloring, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Inlinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. Little Paper Shop – A Gorgeous Color Challenge LPSC79

Hello friends and happy Monday. I got back from CHA in Chicago early Sunday morning. I had the BEST time. I met so many wonderful people. It was awesome being able to meet people that you have only talked to online. I traveled with two of my best friends, Mercy Kerin and Jessica Diedrich. We laughed so hard my stomach was sore the whole time I was gone. Wonderful, wonderful trip. Here is a pic of us. That’s Jess, Mercy and myself eating at Gino’s East in Chicago. That had to be the BEST pizza I have ever had in my life.

It’s time for our weekly challenge from the Little Paper Shop and today we have a color challenge for you. The colors are Bright Blue, Chocolate and Bright Pink. I used a couple of sets on my card today. The two sentiments on the main image panel are from the NEW Young at Heart set and the word FRIENDS is from the Friends set. Here is my card along with the color challenge pic.
