Woohoo!!! I have 2 cards to post today. I was afraid my stamping mojo had left me but I think it's still in the building. Now that I am working "tax season hours", stamping is a luxury I can't seem to fit in. Did it ever feel good to get my hands inky today. Does anyone out there know what I mean? OK, on to the cards.
The first card is for a friend that I work with that needed a thank you card to give to someone. Several people need to sign this card so I made it 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". These size cards are always hard for me because I like to fill up all the space and there is twice as much space to fill up on this one. I pulled out my Bodacious Bouquet that I haven't used in forever. When this set first came out it was my absolute favorite, at least for that month anyway. Anybody else out there like me and you have a different favorite each month. It's a pretty straight forward card. The hardest thing was getting the masking done on all those flowers and leaves. After I got it stamped on white cardstock I cut it out and adhered it with dimensionals on to some Saffron cardstock.

The second card is the first one I have made using the Just Celebrate set from the Occasions Mini that starts next week, March 1st. I stamped the butterfly and used one of my new Copic markers that I got about a month ago to color it in. I only purchased 6 colors with a blender pen to make sure I liked them before I invested any more money in them. Well, I should have known. The Copics are on the top of my wish list now. Loved them!!! I outlined the butterfly with some Turquoise Stickles that I purchased from Michelle at her Ebay store called Stampers Dream. She has lots of great stuff there and a very quick turn-a-round on delivery. The white flowers that I used beside the main image are rub-ons. And I used my first piece from my Silver Hodgepodge Hardware from the Occasions Mini. Those ribbon sliders are so cute. Love them too!!
Have a great week everyone. TFL!!
