This is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC31. Is this not a wonderful sketch? Mercy, you are a wonderful sketch artist. Your sketches just get better and better girlfriend {{wink}}!!
I pulled out my SU set Inspired by Nature for the sketch this week. I used the new Textured Parisian Breeze designer paper. Do you think the card has too much white on it? I wasn't sure once I got it together if the colors were OK. Please tell me what you think. The card base is Kraft and the coordinating colors are Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. I did ink the stamp with Sage Shadow, So Saffron and Chocolate Chip. I have found that Sage Shadow matches Baja Breeze pretty well when you need a marker for your stamp. I used a Lacy Martha Stewart Border Punch and finished it off with Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.
I went to see the movie Paul Blart:Mall Cop today with my son and my Mother. If you have not seen this movie you need to. We laughed so hard our stomachs hurt. The movie is just plain hilarious and a good kid's movie.
Thanks for coming by on this Tuesday morning to check me out. Don't forget to stop by Mercy's blog and play along with her sketch. You'll have lots of fun. Have a great week.
