CHAPTER TWO: Running in a SKETCHY circle...

CHAPTER TWO: Running in a SKETCHY circle...

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don’t much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn’t matter which way you go," said the Cat.

We have a fabulous sketch challenge today designed by our own TWISTED Tea Party member, Mary Giles!   Here is the sketch:

We are VERY honored to be introducing our first sponsor to you today. Kathy from Pixie Dust Studios has VERY generously let us work with her new Digis from her "Down the Rabbit Hole" collection debuting March 1st!   What's more?  ONE LUCKY WINNER will be chosen at random from this week's participants to choose THREE FREE DIGIS of their choice from Pixie Dust Studios!  Thank you Kathy!

I used the Queen of Hearts image for my card today and colored her like she is in the NEW Alice in Wonderland movie.

You have until FRIDAY, March 5, 2010 at 10pm CST to upload your card or project using the above sketch as your muse!  Upload to your blog or public gallery (please use keyword OAC2) and LINK your name below using Mr. Linky!  We can't WAIT to see your creations!

Let's Have a Peek at Oliver and Amelia

Well let's at least have a peek at Amelia cause she is the one I used on my card today. You saw a preview of this adorable set from The Greeting Farm a few weeks ago, and some of you even purchased it on that one special day when you could buy it early. If you didn't get it early I know where you will be at midnight March 1st, at TGF getting this adorable set. LOL. These two little people are so cute. Amelia looks like a little sassy baby doll. Here is my card using this sweetie pie.

Can I just tell you peeps that this set is on the top of my fav list? She is so cute and sassy and Oliver is so sweet I just want to pinch his cheeks off. LOL. Make sure you head over to the CA&F blog to check out all the other girls cards and then please visit their blogs and leave them some love.

Pam (me)

We have one more peek for you of another awesome single that I KNOW will make you very happy. It is also Sketchy Saturday tomorrow too and we want you to play along with our challenge. Take care and I'll see you very early tomorrow.

Edward ..... Here She Is!!!!!!

Welcome back to my blog this gorgeous Wednesday morning. Are you ready for some awesomeness from Club Anya & Friends? We have a preview of another stamp that was a digi that you have been wanting to have made into rubber? Guess who? Step over Edward, here is your soul mate Bella, I mean Camille.Yes, Camille will be available in rubber on March 1st. Woohoo!!! I love Camille. Here is my card.

We are combining this preview with our Wild Card Wednesday challenge. Our challenge today is "Embossing". Embossing of any kind will work. I ALWAYS emboss my images that I stamp and also all of my sentiments so this was an easy challenge for me. I stamped both the main image and the sentiment with Black Brilliance ink and embossed them with Clear Embossing Powder. I really like the way this makes your image stand out. Check out the CA&F blog for the officials rules for today's challenge.

Now head on over to the CA&F blog to see all the gorgeousness from the rest of the DT and check out their individual blogs and leave them some love please.

Pam (me)

Thanks for stopping by and make sure and come back tomorrow, very early, for a sneak peek of another new set. I'll talk to you soon.

Flutter by Bunny

Hello and how are you on this wonderful Wednesday? It's time for another Flutter By Wednesday challenge. Are you ready? Our challenge this week is open. All you have to do to qualify for the challenge is make sure your card/project has a butterfly, angel or fairy. I decided to use a new image from All That Scraps Sweet November line. This stamp was designed by my awesomely talented friend Amy Young. It's called Baby Bunnies Butterfly. What a cute line of stamps Amy has designed. I used some Pink Paislee patterned paper and some Zva Creative Crystals. This card is for Monday's challenge at The Pink Elephant Challenge blog. Here is my card and the sketch.

Isn't this just the sweetest image? Make sure you load your card to Mr. Linky on the Flutter By Wednesday blog and when you upload to SCS and PCP please use the keyword FBW98. Check out what my sister DT members have as inspiration for you today.

Mercy's Sketch MTSC62

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another awesome sketch from my sweet friend Mercy. Don't you just love having a sketch to get your card started with? I know I do. Takes a little of the thinking away for me and sometimes (well, most of the time) that's a good thing for me. LOL. I used a new MFT Pure Innocence stamp called My Umbrella. She is such a cutie pie. I paper pieced her umbrella with some of the My Mind's Eye Love Me Do patterned paper. Here is the sketch and my card.

This little girl was so much fun to color. When you make your card for our challenge please load it on Mr. Linky on Mercy's blog and when you upload to SCS and PCP please use the keyword MTSC62. Check out what my Muse sisters have for you today.

Little Paper Shop Color Challenge

Hello and happy Monday. How are all my peeps today? We have an awesome challenge for you today from the Little Paper Shop, color challenge LPSC56 of Chocolate, Kraft and Kiwi. BUT wow did I ever mess up with this challenge. I got my card 95% complete and went "wait a minute". Guess what I did? I forgot to use the colors in the color challenge. Can you say "What an idiot?" LOL. Well I am going to show you my card anyway because I do not have time to make another AND I'm actually very proud of the card I made, even if I didn't follow the rules. Wow, I feel so stupid. The set I used Floral Frenzy, is the set that we will be giving away to one random participant in this week's challenge. Gorgeous set my friends. Here is the cutsie Color Challenge pic that Julia made and my card.

I colored my white pearls with a V12 Copic Marker to make them match the card (thanks Mercy!!!). I just know you want to win this Floral Frenzy stamp set. Just play along with our challenge this week and your name will go in to the drawing. Add you card to the Linz program on the bottom of the LPS post (yes, I'm sorry I forgot to add the Linz program last week, I apologize). It will be there this week. Now check out what my sisters have done.

Let's Get Our Verve On

Hello and happy Thursday. I have a card to show you today that I made for this past Monday's MOJO Sketch MOJO126. I used the Verve set Beautiful You to create my card. You have to read the sentiment I used on my card because this is exactly how I feel about my hubby. He is the absolute love of my life and I don't know what I would do without him. OK, here is my card using the Basic Grey Ambrosia Paper Pack.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you right back here tomorrow for another creation.

CA&F Wild Card Wednesday

Hello again my friends. It's time for this week's Wild Card Wednesday from Club Anya & Friends. I am bringing the challenge this week on the CA&F blog and it's to use Paper Piecing on your project. I used to do a lot of paper piecing and had a really fun time doing it again on this card. Isn't it funny how you will get hung up on a certain technique, do it all the time, and then when you stop you don't ever do it again. Well, I'm not going to let that happen to me with Paper Piecing because I love it so much. I have colored all of Glamour Anya except for her clothes which are paper pieced. Let me know what you think please.

Now head on over to the CA&F blog to check out all the details of how to play along. I'll see you back here tomorrow with another card.
